New England Dustoff is New England’s premier Volkswagen and Audi car show, officially launching the car show season each year at Thompson Speedway in Thompson, Connecticut. Since 2016, I’ve made Dustoff a “must-attend” event on my show schedule—and for good reason. It’s more than just a show; it’s a gathering of the VW and Audi enthusiast community, bringing together some of the cleanest builds and most passionate people in the scene. One thing veterans of Dustoff will tell you? It always rains. But somehow, that’s part of the charm. In 2025, we got lucky with dry weather on show day…though Saturday’s rain unfortunately canceled the much-anticipated parade laps for Foundation Blue portion of the event. Still, Blake, Tom, and the entire New England Dustoff team pulled off another incredible event regardless of the weather.

I arrived early Sunday as the gates opened and was greeted by one of the biggest crowds I’ve seen at Dustoff in years. After getting my car parked and settled, I hit the pavement—camera in hand—ready to snap photos and reconnect with friends I don’t get to see often enough.
Though I couldn’t stay until the awards ceremony, there were a few standout builds that deserve special mention:
- Swoops Built’s brown Mk4: This stunner took home the Legends Cup, and for good reason—it’s a true gem and a masterclass in clean, thoughtful building.
- Kyle Corrigan’s Mk3 Jetta: Winner of the Mk3 class and the coveted Alexi Trendsetter Award. An incredibly well-executed build that earned every bit of the spotlight.

To Blake, Tom, and everyone involved in making New England Dustoff 2025 such a success: thank you. Your hard work and dedication continue to give the VW/Audi community an event worth celebrating year after year.
Whether you’re a lifelong enthusiast or just starting to dip your toes into the world of Volkswagen and Audi car culture, Dustoff is the place to be. See you in 2026!
